A Maltese lecturer: (to me) you have wonderful food in Indonesia. (to the rest of the class) It was really good. I watched on Discovery Channel how they put so many spices in their food.

conversation in a restaurant with a Nepalese guy (a friend of my friend) right after the class:

Nepalese guy (NG): where are you from?
Me (M): Indonesia.
NG: oh, the beautiful Bali island
M: you’ve been there?
NG: no, I saw it on Discovery Channel.

Hmm, sepertinya Discovery Channel cukup ampuh dijadikan ajang promosi visit Indonesia.
