Ok, it turns out I still have the time to write another blog post. I think my feelings now are quite different from this morning: a little scared and sad, and a lot nervous and sleepy. It's like when Harry had to face the Hungarian Horntail for the First Task in Triwizard Turnament. Remember when he had to wait for like, forever, in the tent because he got the last turn after Cedric, Fleur, and Krum?
That's exactly how I feel.
I was still feeling calm when we (me and my boyfriend) went to Pejaten Village this afternoon and had spaghetti/waffle/pancake. So here's the story. I had to wait a very long time for my waffle, so when his spaghetti came first, I ate half (or more) of it, which left him still feeling hungry, so he ordered a pancake. Then my waffle came and I finished it in a second. Then his pancake came and turned out he was not that hungry, so I ate half of it too. I really need to control my appetite.
So with my stomach full and my bags packed, I tried to sleep, but of course failed, otherwise I wouldn't be sitting here. I've packed my cabin bag with Al Matsurat (in case I get sad), the book Catching Fire (in case I get bored), and a notebook and a pen (in case Catching Fire is boring). I really hope that everything goes well, that I won't leave any important documents at home, that I won't miss my flight or get lost in Dubai airport. Or suddenly forget how to speak English.
I can promise that this is the last blog post from Indonesia. I'm saying goodbye (or see you, whatever) to all the things I've known my entire life, and preparing myself to whatever comes soon. And I'm singing along with Alex Gaskarth on the last song on my playlist:
I'll take you out, though I'm hardly worth your time
In the cold you look so fierce but I'm warm enough
Because the tension's like a fire
We'll hit
South Broadway in a matter of minutes
And like a bad movie, I'll drop a line
Fall in the grave I've been digging myself,
But there's room for two
Six feet under the stars
(All Time Low - Six Feet Under The Stars)
Because in a couple of hours I will be six feet under the stars.
